Cinnamon Leaf Essential Oil:

Cinnamon Leaf Cinnamomum zeylanicum Sri Lanka Wildcrafted

Not as sweet as Oil Cinnamon Bark, or Cassia. Flavor is slightly bitter and reminiscent of Oil Clove Bud. Perfect for making soaps, candles, incense and for scenting potpourris.

Cinnamon Leaf Oil is steam distilled from the leaves and twigs of the true Cinnamon tree. Cinnamon Leaf Oil is chemically different than true Cinnamon Bark Oil, it is much higher in Eugenol. Eugenol is the major component of Clove Bud Oil.

Cinnamon Leaf Oil blends well with Nutmeg, Caraway, Black Pepper, Frankincense, Rosemary, and Ginger oils. Used widely in scented household products such as candles, bath scents, soaps, potpourri.

Cinnamon leaf oil is a stimulant, increasing the blood flow of the mind and body, uplifting the spirit and fighting depression. It is not recommended to apply directly on the skin because it may be irritating, although may be used as an additive in lotions and massage oils.

Cinnamon Leaf Oil has been used in aromatherapy products with caution, bath scents, candles, soaps, detergents, potpourri, natural muscle relaxants, diffuser blends, anti-depressants.
