Clive Christian L Cologne by Clive Christian, Woody and aromatic, Clive Christian L is a cologne that boasts fresh spiciness and aromatic accords. This fragrance was first launched in 2014 and opens with grapefruit and petitgrain notes. The middle notes include rose and agarwood, and the base is rounded out with warm notes of musky, balsam fir, cedar and vetiver.
In 1999, famous English furniture maker and businessman Clive Christian purchased the historic Crown Perfumery. This brand was a celebrated fragrance house established in 1872 by William Sparks Thomson. Thomson created corsets for Queen Victoria, and his son was a chemist who developed smelling salts for fainting women. This inspired Crown Perfumery.
Christian is a respected furniture maker who was honored with an Order of the British Empire medal in 2012 for his work in the British luxury goods industry. After Christian purchased the company, he created a variety of new perfumes. The company now has over 50 original fragrances in its collection.
